Screen Recorder
Record your screen, with your voice and a camera bubble if you want, for as long as you like. It saves to your own computer as you go. No account, no upload, no five minute cap. Is it worth paying for Loom?
Your browser will ask which screen, window or tab to share. Nothing starts until you pick.

Stopping the share from your browser's own bar also ends the recording safely.

How this stays free and unlimited
- Nothing is uploaded. The recording is written straight to a file on your computer as you record (in Chrome and Edge), or kept in the tab until you download it (Firefox and Safari).
- No time cap, because there is no server storing your video. The only limit is your own disk.
- Camera bubble and microphone are mixed in on your machine. You choose which devices, and the browser asks permission each time.
- Sharing the result is up to you: Google Drive, YouTube unlisted, Slack, email. The paid tools' hosted link is convenient; it is also the reason they can put a timer on you.
- Phones and tablets cannot record their screen from a browser, so this needs a laptop or desktop.
